The Lafourche Parish Government held a seminar this month on the importance of building codes. The seminar featured several speakers stressing the importance of permits, building codes and certificates of occupancy. Appearences included the Louisiana State Fire Marshal H. "Butch" Browning, Louisiana Department of Insurance Commissioner James J. Donelon, Lafourche Parish Government Director of Planning & Permitting Frank C. Morris and a representative from the Louisiana Department of Transportation Floodplain Management Office.  Mid-South's own Mike Walsh attended the seminar and met with LSF Butch Browning (photo shown above) to discuss LSF compliance and Plan Reviews processes.  Way to go Mike!
